Acebutololum is a drug manufactured as a beta-adrenergic blocking agent. It is intended for the medication and treatment of hypertension, also known as high blood pressure. Although this drug is not an over-the-counter drug it is an effective drug responsible for the reduction of the heart rate that is forcing the heart to contract.

Acebotulolum is available by prescription only - and is the generic name for the drug distributed under the brand name Sectral. High blood pressure is a condition that can cause many complications.
